Do you wait on God?
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." (Psalm 27:14)
" Since ancient times no one has heard, no ears perceived. No eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. " (Isaiah 64:4 NIV)
"If our waiting begins by quieting activities of daily life, and being still before God; if we bow and seek to see god in His universal and almighty operation; if we yield to Him in the assurance that He is working and will work in us; if we maintain the place of humility and stillness, and surrender until God's Spirit has stirred up in us a confidence the He will perfect his work, our waiting will indeed become the strength and joy of the soul." - Andrew Murray
We as believers suffer things that will develop our steadfastness, it will deepen our character, which in return will test our character, our confidence that God will see us through. Let Him pull you through. Lean not on your own understanding.
"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." ( Hebrews 3:14)
We as Christians need to stay in that place of humility, stillness and surrender. We have to learn to wait, as so to comprehend God's purpose in our life. We need to wait as the Israelites did in the wilderness. They waited and moved as they were lead by day was a cloud; and by night was a pillar of fire.
