Are you committed to God?
"Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
God desires commitment from us.
He doesn't just want half of our heart, but all of our heart.
When you go to work for your employer he expects one hundred percent.
Why should you give God any less than your very best?
The best that we can offer is a commitment that completely focuses on God's will in our life.
All our priorities first and last should be that which must please God.
When we are committed as such we are no longer ourself; our free will has to be consumed by God's will.
If we are to be a living sacrifice our life must be in God's control.
Are you where God wants you to be?
Do you follow God's instructions in those situations in which He has placed you in: marriage, community, church, employment, school, etc.?
When we turn our life over to Him, He will bring about a renewing of our mind, and a separation from the world and it's destruction.
A renewed mind improves our reactions to life situations.
A renewed mind shifts our perspective of right and wrong.
A renewed mind enhances our expectation to a peaceful life.
separation from the world gives us complete freedom to be what God wants us to be.
Separation from the world gives us complete freedom to be without concern about the world's opinion; we dare to be different.
Separation from the world will keep us from being anxious in our thinking.
When we have this kind of commitment we will be transformed in every aspect of our life.
In our marriage with this kind of commitment it would be to trust God first and foremost.
In the church atmosphere this kind of commitment would be defined by God and not by a position.
With this kind of commitment we would not compromise the gospel.
With this kind of commitment we would not be afraid of presenting the gospel to those who we meet.
With this kind of commitment we would let God define our social standards without a doubt, without one question.
With this kind of commitment we have the joy of knowing that we are not alone in our journey.
When we are fully committed we have the benefit of walking daily with Him.
When we are fully committed to Him we are walking daily with the One who is fully committed in His endless love that was demonstrated through His plan of salvation.
Commitment builds faith.
Commitment builds strong character.
Commitment is a venture of a lifetime that requires work and determination.
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me." Matthew 16:24 Living Bible
If we are that living sacrifice our life belongs to God.
True commitment means the risk of death.
True commitment means no turning back.
True commitment requires action.
True commitment is a spiritual discipline.
"Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established." Proverbs 16:3 Living Bible
When we are committed to God we are trusting Him for everything.
When we are totally committed on God we are totally dependent upon Him for everything!
Have you committed to the Lord today?
"Commit yourself to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it!" Psalm 37:5 Living Bible
