How well do you keep your word?

"Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips." Psalm 141:3

Is your mouth busy telling of all your troubles and those of the one's around you?

Do you mean what you say?

Do you not say anything when someone has told you something confidentially?

Do you spill your guts (so to speak), or let the cat out of the bag?

Have you let your friends down?

Are you trustworthy?

How is your reputation?

God is as good as His Word!

Are you?

"He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it." I Thessalonians 5:24

Our mouth gives us the expressions to how we feel, what we think, what we want, how we say those expressions.

Our mind tells us what we think, not of how God thinks.

Our will tells us what we want, not what God wants!

Our emotions are that of what we feel, not of how God feels!

Why not how God thinks, wants, or feels?

It is because our soul is full of self!

It is like a promise that you gave to someone who said that it was to stay just between you and them.

How do you feel when you hear something that you have told someone get back to you?

If they had a problem with keeping that promise why did they not tell you I'm not the person to tell.

Why did it have to come from other sources?

Why were they not direct?

There is a big difference between good intentions and reality.

Sometimes the problem come in that others do not really disappoint us, we disappoint ourselves!

I can only think of one person who has ever fulfilled every promise He has made.

He will not ever disappoint you!

"Therefore saith the Lord God, Behold I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste." Isaiah 28:16

When others let you down or you let yourself down, learn to rejoice in Jesus!

It is in Him we find security!

It is in Him we find peace!

It is in Him we can find trust!

It is in Him we find grace!

It is in Him we find mercy!

It is in Him we find joy!

It is in Him we find eternal future!

We can count on Him when we stay in His presence!

Jesus will not cast us out!

"All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37

Jesus will come to us!

"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18

We shall go into His glory to be where He is!

"Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which thou hast given Me: for thou lovedest Me before the foundation of the world." John 17:24
