Are you trusting in Him?
Are you trusting in God with all your heart?
Do you worry?
How often do you worry about what others think of you?
Do you ever wonder if your friend really cares about you?
Do you ever worry about wheteher your family understands you?
Did you know that if you worry you are not putting your complete trust in Him?
Did you know that there is a difference between worry and concern?
Did you know that when you worry it is a sin?
Worry is the immature way to do things.
Worry does not help anyone, it is self indulgent.
Worry only ties us into knots.
Did you know that so many Christians have accepted this sin into their daily life.
Are you one?
Did you know that when you worry it drains that life of joy that God intended for us to have.
Worry hinders you.
Worry will distract us from seeking God first.
Worry will seperate us from God because it draws our attention to our agenda, not His!
When we begin to trust and lean upon Him with everything it will bring us into a relationship far from that life of worry.
When we trust on God we are not relying on our own view point.
When we trust in God we are basically acknowledging Him and His ways!
In the Hebrew trust means to throw oneself down extended on the ground, giving all our cares for the present and the future upon one another while finding safety and security there.
A good example of this is found in Proverbs 11:28
Why do we trust in the riches of this world when they will fade?
Riches do not make one secure!
This is where most of us go wrong.
We put our heart into getting rich, and finding that security that will disappear.
Riches will fail and fade away.
God will never fail or fade away!
When I talk about heart here we are not talking about that organ inside your body that pumps the blood.
I am referring to your inner man which consists of your intellect, your mind, your emotions, that is our conscience and our feelings.
We are to give God our total trust not holding back any of our mind, will, or feelings back from God.
We are to give ourselves completely, fully, and absolutely to Him!
We are to be totally His!
When we are totally given to Him our point of view will no more and it will only be His way of thinking.
When we do not trust in Him we drain ourselves emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
We have all got to learn to lean and trust on Him!
God is saying, Why worry when you can trust?
When we trust we are acknowledging that we are not alone, that He is there with us.
We need to find our security and safety in Him
How?
Trusting in Him!
We must come to let Him take care of each new circumstance as it arises.
Let Him take full control of the situation.
