What kind of message are you sending?
What kind of message do you send?
Does everyone always have to know of your good work?
Have you let success in and pushed God out?
Do you have a hard time staying focused on God?
Ya know that for a Christian there is nothing more important than how we let our light shine for Him!
What kind of message are you sending about Him?
Do you live like the devil all week and then try to be holier than thou on Sunday?
We can not live like that.
We have a duty to fulfill!
"Both to Greeks and to barbarians (to cultured and to the uncultured), both to the wise and the foolish, I have an obligation to discharge and a duty to perform and a debt to pay." Romans 1:14 Amplified Bible
Paul here is talking about those who are Greeks and those who are not (barbarians), he also refers to those who are educated and those who are not.
So what was Paul's obligation?
Paul's obligations is to spread the good news of salvation.
Is it any different from ours?
No!
We are to cross all those barriers of social, economic and racial barriers that have been set before us.
Christians and non Christians alike need to be reminded that God is the only source of our salvation.
Though our salvation we find security, peace, hope, love, joy, everything that we need we find in the Father!
So you see that we have something that the nonbeliever needs to hear.
We have something of great price that has been entrusted to us!
We have a divine message to send out.
What message?
The Message of Jesus!
Our image is supposed to mirror Him!
We can not be in His image if we are letting things get in the way.
When we let things get in the way, then we let go of God.
Once we have let go of God then we are setting ourselves to let the enemy in.
Who is our enemy?
Some like to say it is satan.
Most of the time it is called self!
Self is our main enemy!
Ouch!!??
It is not about us, but the One whom saved us!
He is the One who sends the message, we are to reflect His image.
We are in His hands, we do that which we have seen, therefore mirror it.
You see it is not what others think of you.
It is what God sees in you!
He wants us to be seen, but not through the spot light so to say.
God uses us to get His message through.
He can only do this, when we have totally yielded to Him.
When God has your heart, your head will soon follow!
We are called to be His ambassadors for him.
Do the people you don't know do they see something different in you that they just can't quite explain?
Do you have that light reflecting out?
Does Christ shine in and through you?
Let us not forget our role, let us reflect the One whom is Worthy!
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
