How much do you appreciate?

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork." Psalm 19:1

How much do you appreciate what you have been given?

I went by this church marquee and this is what it read:

Look back with appreciation
Look up with adoration

If we honestly ask ourselves how many times do we do that?

Do you have to see a sign before you remember to do anything like that?

God is such a mighty God!

The real question here is how much do you love your Creator?

How much are you appreciative for what He has brought you through.

Is He your inspiration?

You can look back and be appreciative for what He has brought you through, but do not get stuck in the past as God, He is not there.

He is here, right now with you!

Do you only care about your needs?

Do you take time to appreciate those less fortunate?

Is everything always about you and what you have need of?

Is your heart after the Lord's heart?

Do you look beyond the outer and look to see them as Jesus looks at them?

Do you have compassion for your brother or sister?

Don't get stuck in that pattern of self-centeredness.

Don't let false humility sneak in and take that true humility away from you.

Let His love, compassion, and wisdom shine through you.

We need to lose confidence in ourselves.

We need to come to the point of total dependency upon Him, and Him alone!

The only thing that can stop you from receiving what you need is self.

Will you let God cultivate the garden of your heart.

Your heart is where the living waters flow.

You can have the anointing of His spirit each and everyday, if you choose.

Let the past be the past, and start afresh.

Let today be a beginning of a new life in Him.

Put your confidence in Him!

Lay aside the past, anything that has hindered you and seek Him.

He will close to those that seek Him.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.Know ye that the Lord He is good: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of His pasture.Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations."Psalm 100
