Daily Walk with the Holy Spirit

Are you sure of His will?

"For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Mark 3:35

Is your obedience rewarded by progress and day by day being conformed more and more to the image of Christ?

Obedience is the outcome of faith, it is the desire of our purpose to practice what we profess.

We are essentially acknowledging that God knows better than we do how our lives ought to be lived.

It is when we obey Him, that very moment that we obey Him we are sure of His will.

Once you start to obey Him you will soon find that He is leading you out swiftly and easily.

He is leading you out into a life of conformity to Himself that will be a testimony to all around you, beyond what you yourself will ever know.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you." I Corinthians 3:16

To each believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is absolutely true that their body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in Him, which he has of God.

When we become one in Christ we then take on His character.

We will feel a change, but more than feeling is that which we are to be.

Even though we feel the change, the vital thing is not the feeling, the reality of the change.

Some of us will be instantly changed.

For some of us it will be a step by step process.

One of the biggest characteristics in my opinion in one's daily spiritual walk is that of meekness and quietness.

This will bring along with it a submissive acceptance of the will of God, through the events of the day.

Absence of worry or anxiety, deliverance from care and fear.

It will bring a calmness in the midst of turmoil and bustle.

These are just a few, there are many more other characteristics of outward development of that inward life that is found hid with Christ in God.

The kind of food that our minds devour will determine the kind of person we becomes.
- John R. W. Stott

"Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world." John 17:24
