What do you look at?

"And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." II Corinthians 12:9

Do you look at your present circumstances?

Do you chose to look past your circumstances at God?

His grace in this statement is talking about His empowering presence.

That means that He is all that you will need to get through your situation.

I don't know any one who enjoys pain, pressures or hassles of any kind.

I don't, but never the less it takes us through the fire to be purified, and ready for what God has for us.

It is when we keep our eyes upon the problem, the difficulty of what we are going through we will have a harder time making it through.

We need to take our eyes off the problem and keep them on Christ.

He will give you the strength to persevere.

"In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul." Psalm 138:3

We have got to come to the point when we stop looking at the process, the pain, those barriers, those boundaries that make it hard.

We must look beyond all those things that are holding us back, and look towards the healer.

We must keep our eyes on Him.

We must learn to keep our mind on God, and not on self, not on what we are going through.

God will use these difficult time to produce that Christ like character in you.

As we go through this process that at the end will begin to look more like our loving Savior.

We need to take one step at a time.

We need to learn to walk in His strength and not our own.

When we walk in His strength we will be able to endure the process.

He will give you grace for the race.

Count it all joy that you can endure the sufferings.

"For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether be comforted, it is for you consolation and salvation. And our hope of you steadfast, knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings so shall ye be also of the consolation." II Corinthians 1:5-7

We can endure when our life is hid in Christ.

We can endure because we are complete in Christ, we are secure in Him.

We have that peace that comes from God.

We can endure because we are growing in Christ, as we are becoming more like Him.

Everyday we face those problems that help us grow.

God will use everyday situations, life's difficulties to strengthen and build our character.

The problems that we run into will deepen our preservence.

Perseverance is the same thing as endurance.

We need to remember the power of God that is available to us, who live in us through the Holy Spirit.

Thank God for the opportunities that He has given you to persevere, that will help you grow, deepen your trust in Him, and let you be able to deal with them in His strength.

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." I Peter 1:6-7
