"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? in tithes and offerings." Malachi 3:8

Did you know that tithing and offerings were before the law?

Did you know that when you tithe you are being obedient to God's laws?

The word tithe it means tenth.

When we tithe we are essentially honoring God with our income for what He has provided for us.

"Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." Proverbs 3:9-10

So essentially when you keep your tithe from God you are stealing...stealing from God your provider!

This does not include those who are unequally yoked.

If your spouse says that you can not tithe, just keep believing and praying and let God work on them.

Give what you can, when you can and watch what God will do in your situation.

Now too those of us who can tithe and choose not to, you are stealing!

"Thou shalt not steal." Exodus 20:15

If you do not tithe then you are considered a thief.

Are you so unthankful for the 90% that has been given to you that you must use the other 10% also?

If you really want to get technical about the whole thing, none is yours.

God gave entrusted us with this amount of provision, so that we would be able to live on 90% and wanting to give the rest back to Him.

So, if you really think about it we still have 100% left after we tithe.

The Word of God says that thieves will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Tithing shows that you have honored God and His Word.

Tithing is believing God!

Tithing is the only thing that God says to prove Him in.

God is saying give Me a try, and see if I am not right.

Tithing will rebuke the devourer from your door, when you are faithful.

You will begin to be blessed and prosper as you tithe.

It may not all happen immediately, but don't give up.

I don't know about you, but I want God to open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that I could not contain.

Do you really know what that means?

It means that there is more out there than I have received.

It means that I have not even begun to tap into all the benefits as a tither.

Let me encourage you, that if you don't tithe then start fresh today.

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there might be meat in mine house, and prove Me herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that here shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 3:10-11
