We are truly blessed!

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is." Jeremiah 17:7

There are so many things in this world that we take for granted.

When you wake up and are able to breathe that is the best gift of all.

There are people in other countries that do not even have clean drinking water.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and a place to sleep, you are really blessed.

So many people in other countries do not have this luxury.

There are places that do not even have air conditioning.

Some people here complain whether it's too hot or cold.

Lets get a grip and be thankful for what we have.

If you have money in the bank, or in your wallet, or even have change jingling in your pocket, consider yourself blessed.

If both your parents are still alive, be thankful.

If you have good health, be thankful, there are more than one million who will not make it another day.

If you can attend church without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death, you are blessed.

If you have never had to battle the imprisionment of loneliness.

If you have never been tortured.

If you never have felt the pangs of starvation.

If you have never had any of these things happen to you, then you are truly blessed as there are millions out there everyday that go through these things.

Hold your head up and smile!

Let us learn to be truly thankful for what God has given to us and not be ungrateful!

"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour." I Timothy 2:3

"O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him" Psalm 34:8
