Are you holding onto Him?
"My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy Word." Psalm 119:28
Have you ever longed for someone to talk to?
Have you ever longed for someone to listen to you?
Have you longed for someone who won't walk away no matter what you say?
Have you ever longed for someone to help you?
Someone to take your hand and show you how to survive the traumas of life.
This is what we all need as humans, isn't it?
There is only One person who can do all that.
There is only One who is always there.
There is only One who is always ready to listen, no matter what time of day/night it maybe.
The Lord is the only One who can always be there.
No One is more sufficient.
This trial that has come your way, has come to test your faith.
"Job replied, "Don't talk like a fool! If we accept blessings from God, we must accept trouble as well." In all that happened, Job never once said anything against God. " Job 2:10 - Contemporary English Version
Do you believe Him?
Will you cling to God no matter what happens?
Will you walk by faith, not by sight?
Can you say, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him."
Our help comes from the One who made the heavens and the earth.
Our help comes from the One who loves us with an everlasting love.
We need to get before God and enjoy him.
Our responsibility is to cling, to believe in Him.
He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
It is God and God alone.
He is all we need.
Get in God's Word, and let Him encourage you and speak to your heart.
"The Scriptures are God's wisdom. They teach us who God is. They instruct us to distinguish right from wrong, and they give clear guidelines fro practical living. His Word is counsel from heaven for life on earth, revealing the Father's omniscient heart to help us walk victoriously in all our endeavors. When learned and consistently applied, God's Word fastens firmly together the disjointed portions of our lives - our work, family, our friendships, our relationships, our dreams, our thoughts, our words, our deeds - in the sturdy framework of divine wisdom." - Charles Stanley
Without these foundations which are found in God's Word we will not be able to withstand the storms of life that come our way.
Such storms as... criticism, pain, loss of a loved one, temptations, and that of success.
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." II Corinthians 12:9
