Don't look back
We as humans keep replaying our memories and keeping ourselves in bondage.
When we keep looking back at the former things, our past we are giving those dead, dry bones life.
We keep giving life to those bones, and as we do, it keeps us right out of the promises of God.
God's Word bring revelation.
God's Word brings freedom, life, and joy.
When God speaks, His Word will bring illumination to those things in which we are to depart and to embrace the new things that He wants to do.
We must come to the place of realization that we are a new creature in Him.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
It is when we choose not to let go of those dry bones that we leave a door wide open for the enemy to come in and create havoc.
The enemy will never attack from the front.
The enemy will sneak upon you, because he knows your weakness.
Don't let him infiltrate your thoughts.
Take hold of those thoughts and fight back.
Fight back with God's Word.
You can't fight back if you have not stayed in His Word.
This is why you must stay in God's Word and memorize it.
Get His Word in your heart.
"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11
Let the past be the past.
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"2 Corinthians 10:5
