Have you been on your toes?

"Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does." I Peter 5:8-11 Message Bible

Is you faith in God genuine?

Have you had many conflicts lately?

Do you resist temptation?

Did you know that at that very moment that you said yes to Jesus, that instant that you surrendered, you insulted Satan.

You made the enemy on an all out war after you.

The enemy works hard to keep whispering things to you that don't belong.

Each of us have a weak point, and the enemy will find it.

No matter who you are, or how long you spend in prayer the enemy will come knocking.

He will even try and bring up past sins, memories of things that you have done wrong.

The enemy will try and remind you either how enjoyable they were or make you feel guilty about them.

If you go on your way and do not spend time in God's Word, and with prayer you will find out that shortly, the enemy will come through those doors that you have left open.

We have to know in whom we trust.

We have to be rooted and grounded in Christ.

"If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; " Colossians 1:23

The enemy will try his hardest to greet you each morning as you wake up.

The enemy doesn't stop there, but will stay working on you all day long.

The enemy is out to steal your life of faith.

The enemy is out to separate you from God.

All you have to do is remind him of his future.

The lake of fire is where he is headed, it was specially prepared for him and all his followers.

Do you ever have sleepless nights?

What do you do?

Do you get up and watch TV?

Do you start rewinding the days events?

Do you get on your knees in prayer?

Do you start praising God, spending time with Him?

One of the best ways to avoid being tempted is to fill your mind with God's Word.

"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14

The Word of God can change our lives.

The Word of God will convict us of our sin.

The Word of God will encourage and uplift us.

The Word of God will help accomplish God's purpose in our life.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

We should not give any compliments to the enemy in our thinking.

We are not to let him dominate our life.

We must learn to be sober and vigilant.

We need to keep our eyes on Jesus!

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.

The closer that we draw to God, the more that we appreciate what He has done for us.

In the end we can not even image the glory and thrill of heaven.

Heaven is a real place.

Are you excited about seeing and spending time with Jesus?

"And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." Acts 7:56
