What happens now?

"for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear;" Hebrews 13:5b-6a - English Standard Version

So what happens now?

When your whole world changes at the drop of a hat?

Do you know what to do, where to go, who to talk to or not talk too?

We must begin our journey one day at a time.

We have the best counselor in the world.

He gives the best encouragement.

His name is Jesus!

We do not need to go to others and tell them our problems.

All we must do is open up our hearts to the Father.

Talking to others is good, but our heavenly Father is everything that we will need.

I know that sometimes it feels impossible to go on.

Sometimes it feels like I have lost my way, and I'm not even sure why I get up in the mornings.

Sometimes I get those bad thoughts about not being around.

But God...

Even though there are times when we don't like what happens and why, God is still in control.

Did you hear me?

I said that God has everything under control.

God, whom created us, and loves us, gives us hope.

"Don't you know? Haven't you heard?
The LORD is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. He never gets weary or tired; his wisdom cannot be measured. The LORD gives strength to those who are weary. Even young people get tired, then stumble and fall. But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired. "
Isaiah 40:28-31 - Contemporary English Version

We have to believe that if there is to be any kind of peace in our situation.

We must believe that with all our heart.

When we start trusting in Him, there is a calm that comes.

It is true that nothing will ever be the same after a loss.

A loss of a loved one affects us deeply.

A loss of a loved one does not mean that life will never be good again.

God can and will use awful circumstances for a greater good.

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good," Romans 8:28a - English Standard Version

Some would prefer not to choose to experience this again, but at the same time learn from it.

Think it not a waste of time, but learn from it.

Things will never be the same again.

They may actually turn out better.

You will be surprised what God will show you, and what you have learned through it all.

It is through that relationship with Jesus, that we will put our life back together.

We must be willing to be reshaped and molded by God.

He is the only One who can offer transformation and renewal, and joy in the form of new strength, hope and energy.

"So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - The Message Bible
