Your Trial...
"When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isaiah 43:2
The length and severity of your trial is in direct proportion to how much faith God has in you.
How do you cope with trials?
Sometimes it takes a severe trial for you to go through so that you can hear what God is trying to tell you.
Today as I was laying down all that I could hear in my spirit was...
"The length and severity of your trial is in direct proportion to how much faith that I have in you!"
God created all of us.
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" Colossians 1:16
We all learn in different ways.
Some of us cope with the trials that we go through differently.
There are some that get mad, try to get even, take their frustration out on others, then there are those that just totally shut down.
Do you put up walls when you are going through a trial?
Some like to get alone with God.
Are you one who walks away from everyone and like for there to be quiet?
It is in the quiet, that God speaks if you but only listen.
Even though you think that your trial is severe, God will never give you more than you can handle.
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." I Corinthians 10:13
You might be broken on the inside.
But guess what?
God has just not gone with you in your present situation, He has gone on before you!
We must realize no matter what we are facing that our God is more than enough!
Don't let the trials that you are going through get a grip on your heart.
Don't let fear rear it's ugly head in your situation.
God wants us to turn to Him for help.
He will help us go through the trial instead of around it.
He wants us to praise Him.
Do you stay in His Word?
Do you let your mind be renewed by the washing of the Word?
Do you seek Him?
He has so much to offer us, including but not limited...
Guidance
Restoration
Comfort
Protection
Provision
So what do we offer Him?
If we would stop and listen in each situation to His voice, we can hear Him speaking life, hope and wisdom.
Do you ever stop and reflect upon the work that God has done in your life?
God does more for us than most of us even acknowledge Him for.
How many descriptive words that characterize God can you name?
God...

This is by no means a complete list of how God works in our life.
Question is are you going to let the trial control you or are you going to let God speak to you through it, so you can learn and go on.
We must learn and go on.
I know that I do not want my trial to overtake and rule my life.
We must learn to put things at the feet of Jesus and leave them there and not pick them up again once left.
We must learn to stand on that solid foundation which is found only in Christ.
Don't be blown away by your current circumstances.
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14
