The importance of Truth

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." John 8:32

"We rob the work of Jesus Christ of it's efficacy(power), and we stand powerless before the adversary, because we doubt the integrity of the Word of God."
- Corrie Ten Boom, in: Amazing Love Pg. 78

The truth about God's love can never be overemphasized.

Even from the very beginning of time the word gospel or good news has implied or taken into account that something has happened.

No one can truly know God's thoughts or way as they are not ours, they are much higher than ours.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord." Isaiah 55:8

We are not in need of Biblical Interpretation.

Being a Christian is not merely a lifestyle or a moral code to be followed, but that of a total willingness to set one's own self agenda aside and take up His cross.

It is the willingness to suffer for the safeguarding of the gospel.

Are you willing?

Are you willing to let your life make a difference and speak volumes, even though you don't have too?

When we are on fire for God, we will do nothing more than to protect that sacred word, against every high thing that be lifted up against our Lord and Saviour.

"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God," II Corinthians 10:5

We need to use God's weapons not the worlds.

God's weapons include..prayer, faith, hope, love, the Holy Spirit, and last but not least God's Word.

These weapons can break the human arguments, and break down the walls that keep those from finding God.

It is time to realize what we really believe in, at it really matters in today's society.

God's Word awakens and sustains faith..."So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17

God's Word awakens and sustains love..."And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment." Philippians 1:9 New American Standard Bible

God's Love sustains joy..."These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:11

God's Word frees us from sin...."And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32

God's Word liberates us from satan's bondage..."And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." II Timothy 2:26

God's Word saves..."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

God's Word is the source of obedience..."Holding forth the word of life: that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain." Philippians 2:16

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14

The core of our Christian faith should not change.

History has not changed.

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

"And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it." II John v.6
"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world." I John 4:17
